Katara always prided herself on being brave in the face of danger. She'd rallied an entire prison of Earthbenders against their captors; fought against incalculable numbers of Fire Nation soldiers; and even tracked down her mother's killer.
But she had never faced her true fear before, and now it was staring her in the face; taunting her with its eternal indifference, and yet challenging her at the same time to take action. She knew what she had to do. So tried every possible strategy she could think of, but nothing was working. Finally, realizing she couldn't do this on her own, Katara was almost ready to admit defeat, but realized she couldn't give up yet. She knew she still had one more option, and it would be the final solution to her problem; she knew it.
Electricity danced in the air as she made her way to her answer.
"Zuko? C-Can I stay here with you tonight?"

And I now present to you my final ZW2010 entry, Storm. Yes, it's short; in fact I'm sure it's the single shortest piece I've ever written. But I feel I made the right decisions. 
Yes, I made Katara afraid of lightning. I figured she'd have a little PTS from her last fight with Azula.
